First, metal can be related to the iron and mentioned as a 'surah' in the Koran and very essential to our daily lives. There were one discussion in Halaqah about the significance of iron a few weeks ago. It is very interesting trying to establish connection between advancement in science and revealed knowledge. At the end of the forum, the discussion the presenter concluded that , in the near future, it is important to generate 'protaz' or professional 'ustaz' that can combine the religious knowledge as well as scientific one.

On the other hand, metal can symbolize a type of music that I enjoy since teenagers. Unfortunately only two are still remaining up to today. In Flames is attached to me since mid-nineties and a new group, Kalmah manage to capture my attention with its distinctive sound.
